Are you a driven legal professional looking for an opportunity to make a significant impact in a global industrial leader? Outokumpu, a pioneer in sustainable and durable solutions, is seeking a Legal Counsel to join our international legal team. This role will be based in Krefeld, Germany, but you will be part of a broader European team, providing legal support across various entities at a European level. Additionally, you will be responsible for corporate housekeeping specifically for our German entities.

  • Review, negotiate, and draft various commercial contracts and legal documents.
  • Manage legal proceedings, including court cases and insolvency matters.
  • Prepare internal reports and recommendations on legal topics and support in legal research and training.
  • Develop and maintain legal templates, policies, and guidelines
  • Manage external legal counsel relationships
  • Draft and manage resolutions, notary appointments, and corporate change entries in relevant registers.
  • Maintain and develop the corporate housekeeping database.
  • Support supervisory board meetings, including invitations, minutes, and related correspondence.
  • Monitoring changes in law and propose measures to adapt accordingly.

  • Fully qualified lawyer in Germany with an appropriate degree.
  • Professional experience in a law firm or corporate legal team is preferable but not required.
  • Fluent in German and English with excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
  • Ability to combine legal knowledge and business acumen.
