Description

We are looking for you to join our team as soon as possible on a full-time basis with an unlimited contract duration! You can work from Bonn or Berlin, Germany, and flexible home office options are possible at any time in coordination with your Team Lead.

Our goal is clear: to reach #zerohunger worldwide. To achieve this, we need strong partners and supporters – and foundation partners are becoming increasingly important. As Manager Foundations, you will manage our partnerships with German foundations and establish new contacts to work together in the fight against hunger and poverty. Are you a networker who enjoys managing relationships and building and maintaining partnerships? Then you’ve come to the right place! (If you haven’t worked in the foundation sector before, that’s no problem. By working closely with the team, you will quickly become familiar with the German foundation landscape).

As part of a small and dedicated team, you will take responsibility for co-operations with German foundations and contribute directly to the funding of our projects in 36 countries. What makes this position special is the diversity of the people you work with. You will advise donors and foundation staff on their involvement. You will be in regular and close contact with our colleagues from the program countries when preparing proposals, reporting on the projects or planning a project visit. You will also attend events organized by German foundations and support donors at their charity events.

  • Support and expand partnerships: You will maintain existing relationships with our foundation partners and identify opportunities for more in-depth collaboration.
  • Prepare offers: Together with our colleagues worldwide, you will develop customised project offers for foundations.
  • Networking and representation: You will represent Welthungerhilfe at congresses, events and in various networks and make valuable contacts with potential new partners.
  • Coordination of project reports: You will organize the creation of reports and presentations that make our work transparent and attractive to existing and future foundations.
  • Administrative processes: You will ensure that all contractual and administrative processes relating to our foundation collaborations run smoothly.
