Marketing Manager with focus on Event Management
- Within our small but powerful marketing team, your primary task will be the organization of internal and external events in the Continental European region. From client- and stakeholder events of each size to exclusive networking events, conferences, panel discussions, employer branding & alumni events to internal off-site events.
- You steer independently the entire event management process, from conception to execution, as well as the reporting and invoicing. This includes, among other, the selection of venues, hotels, logistics and external suppliers, the creation of checklists, the invitation processes, as well as the administration of event equipment.
- You develop event concepts and give impulses for new event formats and possibilities to reach and to inspire our target audiences.
- You design the experience of existing and new event formats by setting new standards and overseeing the budget.
- You ensure the execution of our events in compliance with our corporate design and in a cost-optimized way.
- You closely collaborate with our consulting teams, the global marketing team, our in-house design team and external partner agencies.
Ideally, the right candidate also possesses sound experiences in Digital & Social Media Marketing to support the team with setting up digital and social media campaigns incl. their performance monitoring and evaluation.
- University degree, Bachelor or Master, in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Minimum 3 to 5 years proven professional experience in event management is mandatory, ideally in a professional services firm (management consultancies, law firms, banks, etc.), or in event agencies
- You are a highly flexible event-management expert with a strong client focus and strong problem-solving skills. You have an excellent level of detail, and you know how to inspire external and internal clients
- You bring the required flexibility and willingness to travel within Europe
- You are pro-active, creative, open for new innovative formats (i.e. hybrid, digital) and you are familiar with CRM-software and event planning tools – knowledge of MS Dynamics would be a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English are mandatory
- Good understanding of the consulting service market would be a plus
