Master Data Manager (m/f/d)

  • Identify critical master data assets within James Hardie Europe business
  • Define and implement governance structure, processes, roles and responsibilities necessary to maintain high quality levels in master data
  • Collaborate closely with data owners and managers across the business organization
  • Define and implement data quality criteria for each master data asset
  • Interact with James Hardies’ customers to understand future data requirements (e.g., for PIM-tool)
  • Support James Hardie Europe in selecting and implementing data management tools, e.g., PIM or similar
  • Alignment with Global Organization

  • smart? You have a Bachelor’s degree in fields such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Administration or a related discipline. An advanced degree, such as an MBA or Master, is also highly desirable but not required. Ideally, you have 5+ years of experience in (master) data management, data analysis, database systems, and information governance. In addition to that, your knowledge in cloud DBs such as Snowflake, Azure and AWS would be welcome and you are familiar with MDM tools and/or PIM. You have a good understanding of E2E business processes as well as an exposure to ERP/CRM/MES systems (e.g. SAP, Salesforce).

At the same time, you are capable to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders also globally ranging from business to top management.

You have strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to relate well and cooperate with others to effectively execute master data quality initiatives/projects and accomplish goals. Very good German and English language skills are mandatory as well as advanced skills in documenting master data quality standards, procedures, and policies clearly and concisely.
