Most Wanted: Music (MW:M) is the leading music business conference in Berlin and a central meeting point for international music and creative professionals. MW:M is organised by the Berlin Music Commission eG and is committed to the future of the music and creative industries by promoting knowledge transfer, innovation and networking.

To support our team, we are looking for two experienced freelancers for the following tasks:

  • Website management & updates: Maintaining and updating the MW:M website (WordPress), adapting content, designs and structures, implementing updates and plugins.
  • SEO & data management: Maintenance of link structures, redirects and search engine optimisation.
  • Database and platform administration: Setting up and maintaining a NoCode platform for event data management, including the connection to WordPress and an event app.
  • Event app: Maintenance and updating of event sessions, speakers, artists and exhibitors, extensive automation of content import, creation of pages within the app.
  • Technical support for event preparation: on-site support during the event, integration of (accessible) functions on the website, testing of forms and technical setups, etc.
  • Set-up and monitoring of live video streams: planning, implementation and monitoring of live streams during the event.
  • Graphics preparation: Customisation of graphics for livestreams and event communication.
  • Meetings & coordination: Participation in team meetings, communication with internal and external partners.

  • Experience in the administration and customisation of WordPress websites.
  • Knowledge of data management with NoCode platforms (Airtable, Seatable or similar).
  • Experience with event apps (e.g. Swapcard) desirable.
  • Basic knowledge of graphics editing.
  • Structured, independent way of working and a good feel for technical details.
  • Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills.
  • Very good written and spoken German and English.

Scope: We assume a total workload of 500 hours. As work peaks are to be expected during the course of the project, we are looking for 2 people to share the tasks in the team. The scope of work per person will therefore be 200-300 hours between March-December 2025. These are likely to be divided between the following sub-projects:

  • Most Wanted: Music Convention: 350h
  • MW:M Live: 100h
  • Listen to Berlin: Awards: 50h

Depending on availability and workload, the two people should be able to deputise for each other. Offers are possible from individuals, agencies or bidding consortia.
