You want to do exciting work and take responsibility for your own projects starting from day one – all geared to a clear target role? Then join our 18-month Graduate Program and shape the future of ZEISS. 

During the 18 months, you will rotate between 4 different ZEISS departments across the company’s different business units and possibly also abroad. Which departments these are depends on you – your chosen focus and your future role. During the program, you will also take part in several training sessions, workshops and project work that enhances your professional and personal development. All this aims at enabling you to hit the ground running after completing the program – and make you familiar with the basics to kickstart your career @ ZEISS.

Possible tasks within the program:

  • Support for redesigning critical processes and introducing them into global organizations

  • Preparation of the required training documents and support in the implementation of the training courses

  • Joint development and implementation of a global KPI system with the specialist areas

  • Regular KPI monitoring and review of process performance as well as support in the implementation of improvement measures

  • Participation in projects for continuous improvement or operational excellence and adoption of various work packages

  • Support of the specialist areas in the conversion of a new ERP system within the scope of a Group-wide project

  • Completed field of study in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, production/manufacturing technology or similar

  • Practical experience gained, for example, as an intern or working student (maximum of 1,5 years)

  • Experience in common MS Office applications, or other relevant applications (e.g. Power BI, SAP)

  • Interest in challenging project tasks in plant and mechanical engineering for semiconductor production

  • Flexibility to work at different ZEISS locations in Germany during the program

  • Fluent in English & German, both written and spoken, further languages beneficial
