The focus of this role is to provide support to the current Staffing Manager in DACH with the full range of staffing activities. They will be a champion for thoughtful staffing, driving a balance between the career development of our client-facing staff and the needs of the business. After an extensive training period you will have the opportunity to be responsible for some of our practice groups within DACH as the responsible Staffing Coordinator in close collaboration with the Staffing Manager in DACH.
The successful candidate will need to anticipate the administrative & reporting needs of the team.
Work closely with the current Staffing Manager and PMDs, Partners and Directors to understand the resourcing needs of each project and continually evaluate the progress of projects to adjust resourcing levels accordingly*.**
- Identify and propose solutions to resolve longer term patterns of over and underutilisation via tracking, maintaining and reporting on operational effectiveness and utilisation.
- Support the team to run reports or generate metrics and produce first draft analysis and commentary, such as weekly MI reporting and analysis with the Global Demand and Capacity Daily Dashboard (GCD Daily), Variance Report, Project WashUp Survey, Engagement Onboarding Protocol (EOP) & Industry Specific Reports.
- Ensure the forecasting and scheduling tool (Saviom) appropriately reflects people’s forecast utilisation and that this is updated daily.
- Continuously seek to improve and strengthen the resourcing processes both in DACH and throughout EMEA. Become an integral part of the Global Staffing team.
- Getting to know and “onboarding” new talents in the staffing process
- You will identify and work with the People Team to share knowledge and highlight internal talent or development issues / feedback with the People Team.
- After an extensive training period you are responsible for applying the company’s thoughtful staffing approach and actively ensure to be aware of individual development goals. You are responsible for management, coordination and communication in the area of staffing, always taking into account the respective client needs as well as the preferences of our consultants.
The role holder will have strong organizational, prioritization and administration skills and be comfortable working as part of a team, as well as individually under their own initiative.
- Consulting/professional services background is required. Ideally with an advanced digital skill set / understanding.
- Strong analysis and presentation capabilities, with excellent working knowledge of Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint.
- Degree qualified or equivalent.
- Business fluent in German and English, other foreign languages are an advantage
- Gravitas and personal impact required to work with and influence a team of challenging senior stakeholders, including PMDs both within the team and in the wider firm.
- An ability to negotiate, challenge and influence at all levels.
- Able to work under pressure to meet challenging deadlines.
- A sense of urgency with an ability and willingness to respond and adapt to changing situations quickly.
- Approachable and able to tailor communication style to people at all levels of the organization.
