Feasibility Analysis:

  • Conduct comprehensive feasibility analysis, including defining the manufacturing process.
  • Perform detailed product analysis and description.
  • Provide an initial overview of tooling and fixture requirements.
  • Definition of job content, cycle time, equipment for all required process steps in close collaboration with experts.
  • Support negotiations with customers & suppliers.
  • Collaborate with plant engineering and operations for internal technical reviews, focusing on equipment planning and headcount.
  • Lead both internal and external resources to gather all necessary information.
  • Prepare and manage RFQ documents for components and processes.

Main technical contact to customer in program acquisition, project setup and concept phase:

  • Coordinate the RFQ process.
  • Participate in and lead technical reviews with customers.
  • Act as the lead for the technical aspects of customer meetings and reviews.
  • Collect, prepare, and present technical information both internally and externally.

  • Engineering degree, preferably production engineering or mechanical engineering
  • Relevant work experience in the automotive or other manufacturing setting
  • Competence in result-oriented product and process development
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, multinational environment as well as to represent Nemak at the customer
  • Quick understanding of complex correlations and technical requirements
  • Ability to translate technical requirements to production technologies
  • Enthusiastic team player with systematic working style and very good communication skills – in German and English
  • Enjoy going on occasional business trips (30%)
