Large Projects Offshore is a key contributor to the energy transition. The Unit is responsible for the current and future development of the offshore grid as a whole and subsequently for the development and realization of the DC interconnectors and the Offshore Wind Farm grid connections in both the German and Dutch sectors of the North Sea.
TenneT is growing fast to realize its strategic ambitions. We play a leading role in driving the energy transition. We are looking for a passionate Project Lead – Planning, Reporting and Performance (m/f/x) at our location Hamburg who will contribute to this and that might be you?

In the pivotal role as Project Lead Planning, Reporting and Performance (m/f/x) in the 2GW Program Office, you are responsible managing cross-project interdependencies and facilitating the successful delivery of innovative offshore platforms and cable systems in the 2GW Program. You will be the driving force for fostering collaboration and synergies among the diverse projects within the program. Your responsibilities are:

  • Create a program-level milestone plan by assessing and consolidating crucial milestones of individual projects into one overview
  • Monitor the critical path of cross-project-connected milestones and identify potential knock-on effects between projects
  • Identify and prioritize program risks and issues based on various project information and program analyses
  • Prepare updates and decision proposals for management to take decisions
  • Develop, identify and monitor KPI’s for the Program to be successful and report on towards program management
  • Coordinate, monitor and ensure the reporting on program level and keep the program relevant data updated

  • You have a Bachelor or Master degree in engineering or business administration, or a related field or a comparable qualification
  • You have a strong understanding of project/program management methodologies, tools, and best practices;
  • You have excellent process management skills with the ability to both think strategically and to bring a strong attention to detail, process, and with investigative instinct
  • You have strong interpersonal and collaborative skills with the ability to develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills. You are fluent in both, English and German, with ability to tailor communication to a diverse range of stakeholders
