- Be part of the CoE PC Integration team and help maintain QA excellence across more than a dozen services integrating ERP-related processes into the LichtBlick’s infrastructure.
- Conduct testing for services used by other engineering teams and other third parties.
- Perform backend and API testing (REST and GraphQL) to ensure robust integrations.
- Implement and maintain automated tests using Playwright, preparing relevant test data.
- Integrate automated tests into the development process and document results using Testmo.
- Build and enhance a modern backend testing environment.
- Utilize metrics to measure test quality and derive actionable insights.
- Analyze test results to identify root causes of issues.
- Mentor less experienced colleagues and share knowledge across teams.
- Communicate progress and challenges proactively to stakeholders.
- Participate in backend product development and advocate for quality standards.
- Engage in end-to-end (E2E) testing, focusing on comprehensive test automation for APIs and services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven experience in backend test automation and knowledge of testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with DevOps concepts and integration of CI/CD pipelines.
- Expertise in .NET integration testing, including mocking concepts.
- Proficiency in REST API and GraphQL API test automation.
- Knowledge of load testing and its application within complex systems.
- Experience in the software release process, ensuring smooth and high-quality releases.
- Familiarity with test management tools for tracking and documenting test results.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in the energy industry or familiarity with energy-related systems.
- Knowledge of blue-green deployment strategies.
- Experience in penetration testing and security-related quality assurance.
- Coaching and mentoring experience, with the ability to share knowledge and best practices across teams.
- Ability to negotiate and align software quality perspectives among stakeholders.
- You have a passion for sustainability and are eager to contribute to shaping a sustainable energy transition.
