JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Description:
Support the Mars Petcare R&D team and deepen your knowledge in industrial research in the field of sensory evaluation. You will assist with the day-to-day maintenance of the internal sensory panel (preparation, evaluate, report writing and panel engagement) and support Central and Regional R&D teams with projects.
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Planning and executing sensory tests (discrimination and descriptive human sensory panels)
- Panelist training and engagement (newsletters, attendance, performance)
- Support development of prototypes within the framework of a defined project
- Support in providing recommendations for product development projects
- You have or are in progress of acquiring an advanced degree in chemistry, food science or nutritional science
- Ideally, initial practical experience, preferably in the field of sensory technology or product effect, product development or flavor analysis in the FMCG sector
- The ability to work independently and in a structured manner
- Initiative, enthusiasm and a problem-solving mentality
- Talent for communication in English, German is a plus
- Good MS Office skills
- Responsibility for independent projects with the support of a well-rehearsed team
