Your Mission
We are seeking a skilled R&D Test Engineer to develop innovative fluidic system projects from concept design through optimization. This role combines hands-on laboratory work with design expertise to test various fluidic designs and optimize the process.
Responsibilities:
Collaboration & Design: Work with engineers and scientists to create test instrument concepts based on device requirements, P&IDs, and instrument designs. Collaborate with automation engineers to define automation requirements and test sequences.
Prototype Development & Testing: Select components, assemble test instruments, create test plans, and analyze results to assess submodule performance and identify areas for improvement.
Product Development & Technology Transfer & Support: Transfer knowledge and test results to the product development team, review product submodule designs, and advise on test protocols and instrumentation.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field with a strong foundation in fluid mechanics.
Few years of experience in designing and testing laboratory-scale fluidic systems, with a proven ability to bring systems from concept to reality.
Strong troubleshooting skills for complex systems and subsystems.
Knowledge of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer.
A proactive mindset and enthusiasm for pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in fluidic system design and testing.
Strong analytical problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
Ability to analyze raw test data and produce a clear report summarizing findings and recommended next optimization steps.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently, while also being a team player who enjoys collaborating with others in a multidisciplinary environment.
