- Managing construction work projects up to approx. 500,000 euros in the area of refractory work and structural steelwork (world-wide)
in consultation with department management and project management - Representing the company and the contracts within and without the company as required for the construction work
- Presenting the tkUES scope of services to the customer
- To conduct plant visits and inspections, assess refractory linings and structural steelwork at the client’s site to assess the situation and plan the job site under guidance
- To familiarise herself/himself with the terms of contract and all types of documentation for implementation planning
- Preparing design variants and discuss them and their technical and commercial impact with the superior and the project management
- Planning and structure construction work in cooperation with the project management
- Providing functional guidance to the staff assigned to the job site
- Cooperate with the department and maintain quality standard
- To comply with and enforce health, safety and environment protection regulations
- Vocational training as a metalworker, furnace bricklayer, mechanic or comparable discipline
- Additional vocational training as a master craftsman, technician or comparable training
- Requires more than 1 year of work experience as site manager
- You are looking forward to varied activities in the context of assembly work and are flexible with regard to changing working hours at short notice.
- You enjoy working on international projects and are willing to travel.
- You have a class B driving license and a car at your disposal.
- You are business fluent in German and have a good command of written and spoken English for international construction sites
- Health suitability for working under difficult conditions is a prerequisite, and you have the relevant G examinations.
