Position Description

This position will report directly to VP strategy. As Regional Sales lead your responsibilities include developing sales strategies and actions plans to achieve Cinemo’s growth objective in the region. Your role will entail driving and managing all sale activities and team members with all Tier-1s and OEMs in the region.

In this role, you will:

Sales:

  • Within the perimeter set, deliver efficient account management including account penetration strategies
  • Develop and push action plans in alignment with the Portfolio Management and Marketing functions and supporting the company strategy
  • Define and align sales pitches with the Portfolio Management Department
  • Implement pricing and business models in alignment with global strategy (VP strategy)
  • When required, support other sales managers in developing their respective international accounts within the region
  • Drive the process of closing deals including involvement of internal stakeholders from other departments Bid Management:
  • Secure that Cinemo offerings are prepared in advance and are valid, attractive and profitable
  • Make proposal for bid strategy (parallel offerings OEMs – Tier-1s) for accounts considered in strategic initiatives
  • Prepare argumentation before requesting validation for Sales offers and contracts according to internal procedures Reporting:
  • Maintain sales pipeline and CRM up-to-date to provide full transparency on activities
  • Provide monthly reporting on sales activities enabling forecasting, as well as internal alignment for project management planning Team Management:
  • Define and allocate objectives to Sales Managers and secure Cinemo sales target
  • Cascade objectives to quarterly action plans and action items for current quarter
  • Monitor and provide feedback achievements (objectives) and adjust action plan
  • Hire, motivate and develop Sales Managers

  • Extensive experience in Sales including managing and developing international accounts in the Automotive industry in Europe
  • Strong track record in Software products sales including successful deployment of new products and new business models
  • Solid and proven negotiation skills
  • International profile

  • Self-motivated, proactive and able to work under minimal supervision
  • Pays attention to details and is highly self-organized
  • Has ability to work in a fast-paced environment where iterative changes may need to go out in rapid succession

  • Work in Cinemo’s headquarter located in Karlsruhe, Germany
  • Willingness to travel (domestic and international) as required
  • Has good written and verbal English communication skills
  • German communication skills are nice to have
