nWelcome to the Platform Foundation team at LivePerson! We are a team of 5 engineers located across 3 countries in Europe (France, Bulgaria, Germany). We are looking for a Junior Software Developer to join our team. You will work in a fast-paced environment on projects spanning different company areas, aiming to enhance and simplify how brands engage with their customers through messaging.nn

We are looking for a smart individual who wants to do more than just manage, but also shape and innovate!n

  • nBuild the platform that serves the real time monitoring needs of our customersnn

n

  • nDesign and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for important systems and delivering high-availability and performancenn

n

  • nDesign complex high performance backend services using Javann

n

  • nDevelop technical specifications and documentationnn

n

  • nDebug production issues and help maintain existing codenn

n

n

  • nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related fieldnn

n

  • nProgramming skills in Javann

n

  • nExperience with Git, Jenkins, and other Development toolsnn

n

  • nExperience debugging/testing applicationsnn

n

  • nExperience building RESTful microservicesnn

n

  • nFamiliar with basic Devops tasks for deploying applications in dev/test environmentsnn

n

  • nExperience working with public cloud platforms like AWS / GCP is a plusnn

n

  • nExperience in Kubernetesnn

n

  • nWillingness to participate in paid on-call duty, in alignment with our “You Build It, You Run It” philosophy.nn

  • nA strong sense of quality, personal responsibility, and a passion for development.nn
