Description
Opportunity is not evenly distributed. Shopify puts independence within reach for anyone with a dream to start a business. We propel entrepreneurs and enterprises to scale the heights of their potential. Since 2006, we’ve grown to over 8,300 employees and generated over $1 trillion in sales for millions of merchants in 175 countries.
This is life-defining work that directly impacts people’s lives as much as it transforms your own. This is putting the power of the few in the hands of the many, is a future with more voices rather than fewer, and is creating more choices instead of an elite option.
About the role
We are looking for a Lead Regional Marketing Manager for DACH to execute and scale our marketing efforts in the region. - Market Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of your markets and target merchants, and identify the most effective marketing, communication, and engagement approaches.

- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various marketing teams (Field, Partner Marketing, Product, Marketing UX, Growth, Digital, and Content) to develop and deliver effective marketing programs for your market and merchants.
- Local to Global Exchanges: Facilitate the exchange of ideas and strategies between local and global teams to enhance regional marketing approaches.
- German Roadmap Contribution: Contribute to prioritising the German roadmap and initiatives for the marketing department.
- Market Feedback: Provide feedback to broader teams about market conditions, highlighting successful strategies and areas for improvement.
- Support Regional Goals: Assist in achieving EMEA-wide marketing team goals and programs, ensuring their success in the region.
- Strategic Advocacy: Advocate for important strategies and tactics to strengthen the business.
