Description
This role is responsible for building and managing a high-performing sales team, developing a focused sales strategy, and driving new business. You’ll be hands-on in coaching the team, refining the sales process, and hitting revenue targets. Success means scaling sales efficiently and turning niche opportunities into strong, consistent results.As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:
· Develop and implement the sales strategy for our niche market, aligned with overall business goals
· Hire, train, and lead a sales team capable of hitting ambitious targets
· Set clear objectives and KPIs for team members and hold them accountable for performance
· Drive new business growth, expanding into untapped segments or geographies
· Support and coach the sales team on complex deals, pricing, objections, and closing strategies
· Monitor and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring quality and momentum at each stage
· Report regularly on sales performance, forecasts, and market feedback to senior leadership
· Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and operations to ensure alignment on
messaging, lead generation, and delivery
· Refine the sales process, tools, and playbooks to improve efficiency and conversion
· Build strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
· Keep a pulse on the
trends, competitor movements, and customer needs
Requirements
· Solid experience (5+ years) in B2B sales, with at least 2 years managing a team
· Track record of success in a niche or specialised market
· Strong leadership and coaching skills — you know how to build a winning team
· Strategic thinker with a hands-on attitude
· Skilled in CRM and sales analytics tools
· Confident communicator who can influence internally and externally
· Driven, commercial
results
· Perfect in German and English, both spoken and written
