Bringing together the resources of 30 member states, EUMETSAT observes the atmosphere and ocean surfaces from space using a system of satellites 365 days a year. Our data is vital for weather forecasts that help to protect lives and property, as well as monitoring the environment and our changing climate. We need an experienced secretary to work in a multi-lingual environment, who enjoys the diversity of an international workforce.

Extend your administrative and secretarial skills in our Legal Affairs Division.  You will support our Head of Division and the team, organising and tracking documentation, arranging travel, along with preparing and following up on correspondence.  You will use organise meetings of the Data Policy Group (DPG), comprising representatives from Member States and act as meeting secretary; you will also provide secretarial support for other international meetings. Key elements of this role are maintaining the electronic legal archive, the registry of our spacecraft and updating relevant pages on our intranet.

With sound experience of MS Office and SAP, you will be a confident communicator who can work effectively with international staff on all levels.  You must have a ‘can do’ attitude and be a committed team player.
