As a Senior Account Executive in our Retail International team, your role is pivotal in guiding high growth and complex merchants on how to accelerate their business growth through demonstrating how to best leverage the Shopify retail platform and ecosystem.

The Retail Sales team works with exciting and growing merchants across EMEA, consulting with merchants on both their online and offline strategy in order to optimize their omnichannel commerce needs.

    Senior Account Executive IT (Based in UKI)

Key Requirements

  • Proficiency in English is required; as well as a native or bilingual level of proficiency in Italian
  • Experience in a full cycle sales role, with a strong track record of successfully exceeding sales targets
  • Demonstrated passion for hunting and acquiring new business and/or managing existing accounts, with a proven ability to identify and close high-value opportunities
  • Extensive experience in negotiating complex deals, with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes
  • Consultative and solutions-oriented mindset, with an ability to challenge assumptions and comfortably speak about various product offerings
  • Extensive experience with outbound prospecting, cultivating a territory, and building a robust pipeline
  • Comfort level with getting deep into technical product knowledge and becoming a Shopify product expert
  • Ability to create multi-product pipeline generation strategies driven by sales, marketing, partnerships, events, etc

This is a remote positions, based in the UK or Ireland, Italian proficiency is required. This team is r egionally-focused on EMEA, requiring occasional travel for on-site partner visits.
