Position Description
As a (Senior) Software Engineer at Cinemo, you will play a critical role in the development and enhancement of our AI/ML powered applications for wide range of automotive hardware and OS platforms such as Android Automotive OS (AAOS) and Linux. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain high-quality Cinemo’s in-vehicle infotainment software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
In this role, you will:
- Design, evaluate and select the Computer Vision and Video ML models and underlying software architecture to be used in the next-generation automotive infotainment middleware
- Elevate the in-car experience across different car-lines worldwide by crafting the best-of-class AI-powered infotainment functionality
- Select and tune of the best Computer Vision / Video ML models and incorporate them in the wider automotive infotainment middleware software architecture
- Design training protocols as well as continuous improvement of the software stack reflecting advancements in the field of ML
- Experience in the areas of Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Computer Vision
- Experience with state-of-the-art computer vision models and developing CV applications (e.g. face detection, object detection, image classification, scene segmentation and action recognition)
- Hands-on experience in processing image/video data, including techniques for pre-processing, normalization and data augmentation to improve model robustness
- Experience with performance evaluation and optimization of Computer Vision algorithms
- Strong knowledge of Python, C/C++, OpenCV, PyTorch, TensoFlow, Keras
- Good written and verbal English communication skills
