nWe are looking for an experienced compensation and benefits expert to join the People Experience team as an individual contributor. This role will give you the opportunity to:n

  • nShape the compensation and benefits strategy by following Upvest’s company and people strategies, compensation philosophy, and organisational goalsnn

n

  • nConduct a rigorous review of the current structures and design and manage compensation and benefits programs to attract candidates and engage and delight Upvest employees at all levels around the worldnn

n

  • nConduct regular compensation benchmarking, analysis, and construct salary bands in collaboration with the departmentsnn

n

  • nParticipate in the bi-annual progress cycle and lead the compensation reviewsnn

n

  • nOwn Upvest’s virtual shares and employee incentive programs, from issuing allotments to managing and improving the programs and toolsnn

n

  • nDesign and implement exciting and competitive benefits offerings internationallynn

n

  • nResearch and identify compensation opportunities to optimise our offeringnn

n

  • nCollaborate across the organisation, provide a world-class people experience, and be the trusted adviser for the C-level management on compensation and benefits topicsnn

n

  • nEnsure compliance with regulationsnn

n

  • nWork in an outcome-focused manner towards company objectives and People team goals by leading your own projectsnn

  • nContinuously learn and grow while staying on the pulse of what is happening in the compensation and benefits fieldnn

n

n

  • n5+ years of experience in compensation and benefits roles in an international environment, ideally in multiple companies from startups to more established organisationsnn

n

  • nExperience in modern compensation management, incentive structuring, and benchmarkingnn

n

  • nDeep understanding of designing and managing total rewards programs and benefits offerings beyond perksnn

n

  • nProven track record in managing VSOP/ESOP, EIP, and hurdle sharesnn

n

  • nExperience with relevant compensation and benefits software and tools, and scaling systems and programsnn

n

  • nDeep understanding of gap analysesnn

n

  • nData-driven approach, spreadsheet wizardry, and skills to produce meaningful visual analyses to support decision-makingnn

n

  • nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and ability to explain complicated compensation and benefits topics appropriately to different audiencesnn

n

  • nStrong sense of ownership and keen attention to detailnn

n

  • nAbility to lead complex projects and work in a fast-paced environmentnn

n

  • nPassion for great people experience and inclusive and equitable compensation and benefitsnn

  • nHands-on approach, flexibility, and willingness to support others when needed beyond your own domainnn
