This role combines technical expertise with customer-facing responsibilities. We are building a solution to help customers, so the best way to learn from them is to work closely to them.
- Work directly with customers to understand their needs and develop effective solutions. Provide expert EMC consultation and troubleshooting support to customers
- Analyze electronic systems (PCB, schematic, mechanics, requirements, test plans, and reports…) to make EMC assessments.
- Conduct EMC (pre)compliance testing to support the customer in their journey
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Product and Tech) to improve our service offering
- Help drive innovation in EMC testing and solution methodologies
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities, with a passion for solving complex problems and driving innovation in the EMC field.
Required Qualifications
- Background in Electronics Engineering or related field. Title is not important, electronics should be your passion and you should have some obsession with EMC.
- 5+ Years experience in Hardware Design and Development
- Demonstrated experience in EMC testing and troubleshooting
- Understanding of EMC standards and compliance requirements. You do not need to know all the standards, just be willing to navigate through them to support with customers.
- Experience working directly with customers in a technical capacity, putting yourself in their shoes and understanding their pains and needs.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with pre-compliance testing equipment
- Knowledge of international EMC standards (FCC, CE…)
- Experience in technical sales or customer support
- Project management experience
