As our Senior Financial Accountant/Controller (m/f/x), you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of financial processes in our fast-growing company. You will provide management with insightful reports to support strategic decision-making and take ownership of several critical financial functions, including:

Automation:

  • Contribute to the ongoing automation of our financial processes, including invoice and bank statement management and support the implementation of a new ERP system.

Financial Accounting:

  • Supervise billing and accounting, maintaining the accuracy and completeness of general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Controlling and Reporting:

  • Work closely with the leadership team to perform advanced forecasting and contribute to strategic financial planning.
  • Enhance financial dashboards and analysis tools to provide management with clear, real-time insights for decision-making.

Requirements

Now let’s talk about you:

  • You have 3-5 years professional experience in Financial Controlling or Accounting, preferably in a SaaS startup/scaleup environment.
  • You have a Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Economics, Finance or a related field.
  • You have proven experience with ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Oracle Netsuite or a comparable system.
  • You have experience in successfully automating business processes.
  • You are highly proficient in MS Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge in BI tools such as Power BI is a plus.
  • You are adaptable, process-oriented, and work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • You speak fluent German (C2) and have excellent written and spoken English.
  • You are ideally located in Kiel or Berlin, but we are also open to remote throughout Germany.
