About the role

We are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to improve our financial operations at Chroma Germany GmbH. In this role, you will manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounting. You will prepare timely financial reports, ensure compliance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and support budget preparation and financial forecasts. In addition, you will lead long-term financial planning, design robust internal controls, develop tax strategies and manage audit processes.

Main:

  • Perform daily general accounting tasks.

  • Support with accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger accounting.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in a timely manner to ensure accuracy and compliance with the Commercial Code.

  • Assisting in the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts, as well as reporting on variances.

  • Support long-term financial planning and strategy development to identify trends, risks and opportunities.

  • Ensure compliance with internal and external audit processes, including collaboration with auditors.

  • Collaborated on various financial projects, including data analysis, research, and timely reporting.

  • Playing an important role in the implementation of ERP MyFactory for accounting and reporting.

  • Working closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support business decisions.

Ihr Profil:

  • Bachelor-Abschluss in Buchhaltung, Finanzen oder einem verwandten Bereich; zusätzliche Qualifikationen als Steuerfachangestellter oder Bilanzbuchhalter sind von Vorteil.

  • 4-6 Jahre Erfahrung in der Buchhaltung.

  • Fundierte Kenntnisse des HGB und ausgezeichnete analytische und problemlösende Fähigkeiten.

  • Beherrschung von Buchhaltungssoftware und Bereitschaft zur Unterstützung der Implementierung von MyFactory.

  • Fließend in Deutsch und Englisch.

  • Sehr gute MS Office-Kenntnisse (Excel, Word, Outlook) und Erfahrung mit ERP-Systemen (Exact, Datev oder ähnlich).

  • Fähigkeit zur Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Teams.
