About the role: We are looking for a Senior Group Financial Controller who will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and strategic decision-making across our global operations. You will be responsible for controlling financial data, processes, and reporting, working closely with local entities, finance teams, and IT/data teams. This is an exciting role where you will deep dive into the data to understand what impacts our financial performance across our different markets.
- You manage and improve the accuracy of financial data across entities and systems
- You ensure timely and accurate reporting under local GAAP and IFRS standards
- You oversee budgeting and spend tracking for global functions
- You lead transfer pricing calculations and true-ups for global projects and internal cost allocations
- You prepare monthly board-level financial presentations and support strategic decision-making
- You control various financial processes and policies, ensuring compliance and consistency
- You collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and monitor financial processes
- You hold a degree in finance and have several years of experience in financial controlling, ideally in a global environment
- You bring expertise in financial controlling, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- You have deep knowledge of local GAAP and IFRS, and some understanding of transfer pricing and VAT regulations
- You are experienced in an ERP system, e.g. SAP, Netsuite, AP Plus or similar
- You have a ability to collaborate across international teams and coordinate cross-functional projects
- You are fluent in English; German is a strong plus
- You possess excellent communication skills and can present complex financial data clearly and effectively
- You are proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement and compliance
