As Senior Legal Counsel AH Global Supply (GS) together with a team of committed colleagues you will provide legal advice to the AH business and steer the work on legal matters for one or more strategic business units globally.

- In your new role, you will be the strategic business partner to the Head of AH GS and the entire Boehringer Ingelheim AH GS team, collaborating with ROPU/OPU and cross-functional leaders as well as international legal colleagues.
- As a member of the AH GS Leadership Team and additional committees within the AH GS organization, you are the lead lawyer for AH GS providing a broad range of legal services including strategic legal advice on corporate projects and regional topics with global impact.
- You will draft, negotiate, and manage a broad variety of contracts such as contracts with alliance partners, Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMO) and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) suppliers for the global supply of animal health products.
- As business partner for the AH Quality team, you will support AH specific quality topics including SOPs/AH Site Inspection or AH Task Forces and act as legal representative in the Corporate Advisory Committee (CAC) counselling on quality issues with potential market action.
- You will coordinate a global team of lawyers supporting AH GS and closely collaborating with Legal Manufacture, Supply and Global Quality to ensure alignment on key legal issues in the respective functional area between Corporate and the regional and local organizations.
- Furthermore, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the business, leveraging your entrepreneurial mindset and deep business understanding. Your insights will help shape critical decisions, highlighting potential risks and unveiling new opportunities.
- Finally, being a passionate lawyer, you will monitor the development of relevant local and internal laws and regulations to anticipate business relevant legal trends and create corresponding legal strategies to deliver a competitive edge.
- Fully qualified lawyer, ideally with additional qualifications (LL.M/MBA)
- Long-term relevant legal experience and in-depth knowledge in the pharma and/or animal health industry
- Expertise in drafting and negotiating complex agreements in an international environment and in providing council on commercial matters
- In-depth knowledge of international contract law and relevant commercial law including healthcare law as well as basic understanding of GMP and other manufacturing/quality related regulations
- Business partner oriented, proactive, and outcome-driven mindset with a strong ability to build professional relations at all levels of the business
- Curious and highly committed team player with a strong analytical, strategic, and creative mind and effective influencing and communication skills
- Excellent judgment on legal and compliance risks and business opportunities
- Business proficiency in written and spoken English
