Our Online & Social team is looking for YOU!

  • Overseeing Uniper’s external digital channels, with a focus on social media platforms (especially LinkedIn). Ensure content aligns with corporate messaging, business activities, and strategic positioning of Uniper. Strong copywriting experience is preferred, emphasizing both storytelling and clear, informative copy.
  • Creating high-quality, compelling content for social media and other online channels, including blog. Develop and implement new and engaging formats and concepts to tell Uniper’s transformation story.
  • Leading the development and execution of creative social media campaigns that align with Uniper’s business objectives and brand strategy.
  • Monitoring and measuring the success of digital campaigns and social media posts, using analytics to optimize content performance and inform future strategies.
  • Supporting colleagues from the broader external communications team in crafting posts and articles that position Uniper’s executives as thought leaders in the energy industry.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams—including internal communications, governmental relations, brand, IT, HR and business units—to ensure consistent communication and brand identity across digital channels. Act as an internal consultant, advising on best practices for online and social media communications.
  • Coaching and educating interested employees on best practices for posting from private LinkedIn accounts. This also includes, developing and implementing guidelines, training, and resources that helps employees to align their personal posts with Uniper’s business goals and brand messaging.
  • Contributing to the continuous development of the social media strategy.

  • Master’s degree in communications, marketing, business administration, or a related field.
  • 6-7 years of proven experience in social media management, digital communications, and copywriting. Experience in the energy sector is a plus.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to develop content that balances technical insights with engaging narratives for a broad audience.
  • Solid understanding of online marketing campaign strategies, including social media marketing and performance management tools.
  • Experience managing complex digital marketing and communications projects, including steering external service providers and agencies. Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in an international, fast-paced environment. A collaborative team player who can engage with senior stakeholders and external partners.
  • Native-level fluency in both English and German, with excellent written skills in both languages.
