For the division Program Management at Adient Aerospace in Kaiserslautern , we are looking for a
Senior Manager Programs (m/f/d)
(Other duties and projects may be assigned or requested)
- Oversee the execution of multiple seat development and production programs, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer requirements
- Ensure timely, budget-compliant, and high-quality delivery of all programs
- Identify and manage program risks and opportunities, implementing mitigation strategies as needed
- Manage program budgets, program and team resources, monitor costs, and work with finance teams on financial forecasting
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Program Managers to ensure performance and growth
- Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages innovation and open communication
- Serve as the main contact for internal and external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers
- Prepare and present program status reports, KPIs, and other relevant documentation to stakeholders
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and expectations
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in program management processes, tools, and methodologies
- Support Program Managers and the overall program management team by leading and managing programs as needed
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or equivalent experience
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certificate is a plus
- A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in program management in the aerospace industry and in a managerial role is a must, experience in an international environment is a plus
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, ensuring alignment and collaboration among all parties involved
- Proficiency in presenting complex information clearly and concisely to executive leadership and clients
- Proficient knowledge of MS Projects and all MS Office applications
- Excellent knowledge of English and German (both written and spoken)
- Ability to lead specific projects, document and coordinate actions, and make timely decisions
- Readiness to be on site up to 5 days per week – remote working options on an irregular basis
- Willingness to travel for business purposes is required
