If you are nodding at this point, then read on! What’s in it for you? As our Senior Supply Chain Planning Partner, you will oversee operational planning with an 18-month horizon. Your main goal will be to ensure stable production through effective planning for both existing and new products. You will lead the development of production plans and analyses necessary to meet our customers’ needs, collaborating closely with a diverse range of stakeholders within the Novo Nordisk Supply Chain organization and production teams. Your core responsibilities will include: Managing planning for a specific product portfolio/value chain while creating short-term production plans for adherence Developing 18-month capacity plans to ensure optimal production levels Ensuring clear and constructive alignment and direction with stakeholders across the supply chain and production Conducting analyses to identify supply risks that will inform decision-making Defining and optimizing supply chain processes and supporting cross-functional and cross-departmental improvements You will be accountable for maintaining full alignment across the supply chain by effectively communicating your plans and analyses to decision-makers at various levels within the organization. You should be comfortable making decisions and navigating discussions with senior stakeholders regarding supply chain priorities. Your personal integrity and resilience will enable you to integrate diverse perspectives into the decision-making process while managing complex concerns and priorities within a fast-paced environment. Candidate profile For you to be successful in this position, we expect you to have: A master’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, or another relevant field Experience in supply chain management or a background in the pharmaceutical industry is advantageous An analytical and structured approach to problem-solving The ability to navigate complex challenges and pinpoint optimal solutions Strong communication skills to engage stakeholders clearly and effectively Proficiency in Excel; experience with SAP ECC and OMP is considered a plus Professional proficiency in written and spoken English is essential As an individual, you are self-motivated and eager to overcome obstacles. You are proactive in involving relevant stakeholders when constraints arise. This position offers significant autonomy and decision-making authority within your area of responsibility, and it is crucial for you to thrive in a dynamic work environment. About the Department The Global Supply Chain Planning team within Product Supply supports all Novo Nordisk A/S global production sites by providing optimal supply chain processes, systems, and data to facilitate seamless daily operations. We are responsible for identifying and executing strategic supply chain projects in close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders. You will join our Rare Disease Planning team, comprised of 20 highly engaged colleagues.
