Job Description

  • Manage owned social channels and lead the ideation, production and execution of creative content to grow our communities (prospects and existing customers)
  • Insight-led strategies based on social listening
  • Responsibility for establishing a constructive dialogue and maintaining our brand personality across all social channels
  • Demonstrates a passion for the latest social media innovations and has their ‘finger on the pulse’ of trending stories / topics (content that ‘pops’)
  • Strong understanding of social media optimisation

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Drive the implementation of the content strategy across teams and channels, ensuring consistency in brand positioning and communication, as well as alignment with our business objectives
  • Develop Omio’s social media strategy and manage owned media channels (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, etc.) to improve brand awareness, customer loyalty and engagement
  • Organise social media activations and mini-campaigns strategically to increase reach and engagement
  • Create Omio’s social media calendar, with the opportunity to flex content based on performance / trends
  • Plan and create high-quality, on-brand and impactful social content
  • Proactive / reactive posts – trending, audience-relevant content)
  • In collaboration with internal creative team and / or external content agency
  • Oversee social listening and reporting (based on agreed KPIs)
  • Intercept trends and act on them, providing meaningful content to deliver brand awareness
  • Build a strong brand on social media, not only to create brand awareness but as a reference for successful social media practices

  • Experience in creating effective and distinct social content and managing owned media channels
  • Experience in managing content teams / agencies towards excellence
  • Excellent English language and writing skills; additional language skills are always highly valued at Omio
  • With a flair for creating dynamic and engaging conversations on social media to promote brand affinity
  • Ability to solve problems efficiently and independently
  • Proficiency with social media insights dashboards and data analysis skills
  • Experience with social media management tools (e.g. Falcon.io)
