Senior Strategy Manager (m/f/d)
As Senior Strategy Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Strategy to support the Mabanaft Leadership Team in delivering its ambitious group strategy to lead the energy transition.

- Work with the Head of Strategy, the CEO and the Mabanaft Leadership Team in updating the group strategy, subsequently setting strategic priorities and deriving actionable implementation plans.
- Create, implement and review the group strategy process and support the group’s long-term strategic planning activities.
- Lead and support strategic projects sponsored by the CEO and the Mabanaft Leadership Team, for example, to develop green energy strategies, realign the strategy, the company organization and company-wide efficiency programs
- Be responsible for identifying, driving and owning strategy topics to guide, develop and improve the business
- Support M&A transactions by identifying suitable targets, assessing strategic fit and supporting the M&A deal life cycle
- Perform strategic analyses in relation to Mabanaft business environment (markets, customers, competitors, partners, etc.) to derive conclusions and convert them into actionable recommendations for the Mabanaft Leadership Team
- University degree in Economics, Business Administration, (Industrial) Engineering or Natural Sciences; preferably supplemented by an MBA
- Significant professional experience from either a leading strategy consulting firm or the strategy department of a larger corporate
- Strong analytical and conceptual capabilities with good business acumen
- Highly interested to shape future energy business models in hard-to-electrify sectors (working energy molecules such as green hydrogen, Ammonia, methanol) whilst at the same time driving operational excellence in the core conventional business
- High social competence, team player, pragmatic approach
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to collaborate, influence and build rapport with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong project management skillset and ability to organize and deliver projects under tight deadlines and in a complex environment
