For our customer located in Zurich/Switzerland we are currently looking for a :Senior System Engineer (m/f/x)
Join our dynamic team responsible for the critical DNS and DHCP platform that power our customer services. As a DNS and DHCP Engineer , you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of these essential systems. Engage in exciting projects alongside divers stakeholders and make a lasting impact on our evolving platforms.
- Develop and optimize cache and authoritative DNS infrastructure
- Develop and optimize DHCP infrastructure and maintain public IP address allocation
- Develop and optimize Radius accounting and authentication platform
- Develop and optimize IP Address Management platform
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and workflows
- Manage and support the lab server environment
- Reporting and automation for the responsible systems (DNS, DHCP, IPAM, Radius)
- University degree in Computer Science or a related subject.
- At least 5 years of experience with large scale DNS, DHCP, IPAM, Radius installations in an ISP environment.
- At least 5 years of experience in implementing and administering common TCP/IP-based services, including DNS, DHCP, HTTP, SSH.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Pearl, PHP, SQL and Ansible.
- Expert knowledge of UNIX/Linux system administration
- At least CCNA level of networking know-how
- Ability to explain complex problems in simple terms to non-technical team members
- Location: 100% Zürich, 2-3 office days per week
- Duration: asap – 31.03.2025 – Extension possible: Internalisation
