Your Team: In our Platform design team, we focus on the holistic optimization of the entire Statista platform to provide a positive and intuitive user experience. We work closely with our internal clients to develop customized solutions and implement them visually. We take care of a wide range of tasks, including the further development of our design system, video and motion, and topics such as branding or creative campaign conception.

  • As (Senior) UI/UX Designer you are responsible for the user interface design and the conceptual development of the Statista platform itself and the various products offered on that platform.
  • You will develop high fidelity mockups based on user flows, wireframes and existing design guidelines. In doing so, you work with a keen eye for detail and pay attention to cross-platform and cross-product consistency in the design language.
  • You are able to spar with other UI/UX Designers in the team and stakeholders to develop and refine rough and fine concepts.
  • As an experienced UI/UX Designer, you always have the user’s perspective in mind and at the same time think in a conversion-optimized way.
  • You iterate each of your developed concepts from a design and user perspective together with the interdisciplinary project team and always have the big picture in mind.
  • You are able to develop interaction concepts and define basic content of the elements.

  • You have successfully completed a degree or training in the field of interaction design, information design, communication design or similar and have several years of experience as a user interface and user experience designer for digital products.
  • You have relevant experience in working with design guidelines, pattern libraries and the application of human interface/material design guidelines.
  • You are confident in using Figma, Miro or comparable design and wireframe tools.
  • You work creatively, structured and independently and are not afraid to question ideas and concepts to achieve the best result considering a holistic user experience.
  • As an experienced UI designer, you have a good sense for innovation, intuitive ideas and designs and are always looking for new UI/UX trends to share within and outside your team.
  • Creative exchange within your team is very important to you.
  • You inspire with ideas and can give constructive feedback based on your experience.
  • You have a good command of German and English and are able to conduct meetings in English.
