Product Marketing Role – Marketplace As a Product Marketing Manager at OneFootball, you will play a pivotal role in bridging our product development efforts with the dynamic market landscape. You’ll be the voice of the market inside the company, ensuring our products resonate with and meet the needs of our diverse fan base. Your work will directly influence how we develop, position, and promote our products.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for our Marketplace vertical, allowing football fans to buy jerseys, official items, memorabilia, tickets and many other football related products via our platform. What you’ll do

Vision:

  • Lead the product development efforts for the Marketplace offering inside OneFootball’s ecosystem
  • Serve as the crucial link between product development teams and the market.
  • Lead efforts in understanding and segmenting our customer base, deep-diving into their journey and discovery process.
  • Stay ahead of market trends, competitive messaging, and dynamics to inform strategic decisions.

Strategy:

  • Develop product go-to-market plans, guiding their execution and necessary adaptations.
  • Analyse funnel dynamics to optimise product offerings and growth.
  • Collaborate closely on branding and pricing strategies to ensure market competitiveness.
  • Align programmatic marketing activities with overall product strategy to maximise impact.

Comms and CRM:

  • Frame the go-to-market story narrative and build a strong relationship with our business verticals
  • Work in tandem with marketing teams on activities and campaigns that drive demand and build community engagement.
  • Enable fandom and communities across the OneFootball ecosystem
  • Spearhead customer lifecycle management initiatives, focusing on enhancing engagement and conversion
  • Gain a deep understanding of the funnel and conversion behaviours to inform strategic marketing and product development decisions.

  • Previous experience in eCommerce and/or online marketplace
  • Deep customer curiosity and strong, active listening
  • Genuine product curiosity
  • A strategic mindset that is also execution-strong, capable of translating vision into action.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams and disciplines, fostering a unified approach to product marketing.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A broad understanding of marketing principles and tactics

  • Technical competence that allows for meaningful conversations with product development teams and a deep understanding of our products
