As a DevOps Engineer atRatepay, you will play a crucial role in our mission to streamline and enhance our payment processing systems. As a Software Engineer (m/f/d) atRatepay, you will make a significant contribution to our shared mission of building and developing secure and simple payment solutions for the online retail market, whichstill continues to grow.

  • Drive the development, operation, and continuous improvement of our systems.
  • Integrate internal and external APIs within a microservice architecture.
  • Provide tools and metrics to effectivelymonitorboth technical and business KPIs.

  • A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Java backend development; familiarity with Kotlin is a plus.
  • Hands-onexpertisein software engineering with Spring/Spring Boot, Git, Maven, Docker, and Jenkins.
  • Deep understanding of RESTful APIs&microservices.
  • Proventrack recordof building high-quality customer solutions in an agile environment.
  • Full involvement in thesoftwaredevelopmentlifecycle, embracing a DevOps mindset (“you build it, you run it”).
  • Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration within your team and across departments to deliver high-value solutions for stakeholders and merchants.
  • Strong command of the English language.
  • ProficiencyinAWScloud technologies.
  • Knowledge of event-driven architecture (Apache Kafka).
  • Experience with Kotlin.
