Description

Our client, a technology company providing innovative non-standard automation solutions for the new energy vehicle (NEV) industry chain, is seeking a Solutions Engineer with strong technical expertise and a customer-centric mindset to support the rapid growth of its European market and team.

  • Participate in technical proposal development, feasibility analysis, communication coordination, and technical clarification during the tendering phase, aligned with customer requirements.
  • Lead mechanical structure design and cost estimation for non-standard equipment, delivering technical documents and standardized documentation.
  • Engage in process planning and technical optimization for entire production lines of NEV battery assembly and electric control systems.
  • Lead or assist in structural design reviews, risk assessments, and core structural design.
  • Monitor assembly, debugging, and validation during project implementation, providing on-site technical support.
  • Assist the procurement team in selecting key mechanical components and coordinating with the supply chain.
  • Continuously track customer needs and T1 supply chain dynamics in the European NEV sector to identify and expand business opportunities.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Design, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
  • At least 3 years of experience in non-standard automation system design, with proven project experience in NEV batteries and electric control systems.
  • Familiarity with OEMs such as BMW, Daimler, Volkswagen, or T1/T2 suppliers like Bosch, Valeo, Continental.
  • Proficiency in 3D design tools (SolidWorks, CATIA, or Creo).
  • Competencies in cost estimation, structural simulation, and standardized component selection.
  • Strong logical and communication skills, capable of technical interactions with international clients.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in German or Chinese is a strong advantage.
