For our Sales & Marketing Department in Troisdorf we are looking for a
Specialist Technical Sales (UK, Scandinavia, Baltic States) (m/f/d)
- Your place of work can be in Troisdorf, UK, Finland, Benelux or the Czech Republic
- Ensure growth and maximize sales volume of specialty interlayers in the UK, IRL, Scandinavia, Balticum regions
- Responsibility for achieving business targets (including revenue, pricing, accounts receivable, inventory, fixed costs and safety/ethics, customer technical support)
- Enforcing price increases and setting pricing guidelines to maintain high margins for layer pads
- Providing technical support and ensuring the handling of customer complaints and claims
- Analyzing market information from customers and ADECs
- Working with the HPP EMEA team and initiating and facilitating the sharing of best practice
- Integrating the new strategic and cultural guiding principles into daily work
- Conduct customer segmentation to improve costs and customer satisfaction
- Maintaining and expanding relationships with:
o Leading laminated glass customers
o Architects
o Engineers
o Consultants for the specification of architectural glass interlayers
o Glaziers - Close cross-departmental cooperation
- Completed Bachelor’s degree in engineering, natural sciences or business administration
- At least 5 years of professional experience in technical sales, experience in the glass industry advantageous
- Extensive experience in sales and marketing of technical/chemical products
- Knowledge of key financial figures and adherence to budgets and target agreements
- Fluency in English; German and other language skills an advantage
- Very good knowledge of BDE, SAP, Power BI, Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word & Power Point and online networking tools (Zoom, Miro, etc.)
