As a Founders Associate at SPiNE Energy, you will be pivotal in building the foundations of a fast-growing energy startup. At this early stage, your role will involve a broad spectrum of strategic and operational responsibilities, helping to shape the company’s direction from the ground up. You will collaborate directly with the founders and leadership team, working hands-on to drive forward new initiatives, build internal processes, and establish key partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Projects & Early-Stage Initiatives: You will initiate and lead high-impact projects that drive SPiNE’s early-stage growth. Whether optimizing business processes or supporting new product initiatives, your work will shape the future of the company.
Leadership Sparring & Decision Making: As a direct partner to the leadership team, you will be deeply involved in day-to-day decision-making. You will support strategic thinking and execution on everything from operations to market strategy.
Operational Excellence: You will optimize and streamline processes across departments, from automation to performance tracking, ensuring we scale with agility and efficiency.
Financial Strategy & Performance Management: Through sharp analysis and detailed reporting, you’ll provide insights that steer the company’s financial trajectory, ensuring we not only meet but exceed our strategic financial objectives.
Flexibility & Versatility: In an early-stage startup, roles can be fluid. You’ll need to be comfortable wearing many hats, from conducting market research to managing supplier relationships. Your ability to pivot and adapt to new challenges is key.

Your profile
Entrepreneurial Spirit: You possess a hands-on mentality, taking initiative and responsibility for projects with minimal oversight. You enjoy building from the ground up and thrive in dynamic environments.
Analytical Mindset: With excellent analytical skills, you can break down complex problems and provide clear, data-driven solutions. You bring a structured approach to both strategic and operational challenges.
Proactive & Results-Oriented: You prioritize effectively (80:20), focusing on what’s most impactful and driving results. You have a keen eye for detail and work with a sense of urgency to meet objectives.
Stakeholder Management: You are confident in managing multiple stakeholders across different levels, from internal teams to external partners. Your communication skills ensure alignment and clarity in all interactions.
Previous Experience: 0-2 years of experience in fast-paced, high-performance environments, such as consulting, investment banking, or high-growth startups. Prior exposure to the energy sector or sustainability-focused companies is a plus.

Willingness to frequently work on site in our office in Munich.
