Your challengesIn this newly established role as Program Manager, you will join a skilled team of 11 colleagues in our Procurement Excellence & PMO function, and you will report directly to the Director of Procurement Excellence & PMO. You will program manage a set of projects (16 where some of the complex ones are having dedicated program managers), facilitate scoping and planning for new projects added to the portfolio, ensure regular reviews, flag issues or interdependencies and facilitate their resolution, setting up needed governance model with the management team but also with the project managers on the strategic projects. Moreover, you will have a central part in driving the review of the procurement strategy on a yearly basis and driving procurement strategy overall. Lastly, you will be setting up the program management practice and strategy PMO practice in procurement.More specifically, you will:Facilitate yearly strategy review, and every 4th year a major strategy reviewDefine process and governance for strategy execution follow-up, calibration, review and communication.Enhance existing practices within project management and change management in order to strengthen strategy execution.Support project managers on the individual strategic initiatives in scoping and planning the projectsProvide communication to procurement team in terms of progress and impacts of the strategyPrepare communication for top management outside of procurement conveying main updates within strategy deploymentPrepare needed material and ensure overall strategy progress update and calibration discussions towards the procurement management team and other management forums that may be relevant (i.e. business performance reviews with management from other functions)The role is based at our Head office in Hørsholm or alternatively at our offices in Østbirk, depending on where you reside. VELUX is offering hybrid working setup, with the flexibility to work up to 4 days over 2 weeks remotely. Through your adjustable approach and significant presentation and communication skills, you confidently guide stakeholders of all levels, from Senior Directors to project members, ensuring their collaboration by knowing the appropriate moments for insistence and composure.
