We, the Renewables Academy (RENAC) AG and the subsidiary RENAC energy & climate gGmbH, are internationally oriented training providers specialising in renewable energy technologies, energy efficiency, and fields of application for green hydrogen and power-to-X. We offer online courses, in-person training in Germany and abroad, set up local training structures, implement study courses in cooperation with universities, and organise events as part of the Energy Export Initiative.
Since our establishment in 2008, we have trained and educated more than 33,000 participants from the public and private sectors as well as the financial sector in over 170 countries. RENAC offers E-Learning courses on green energy technologies (Renewable energies and energy efficiency) worldwide. We have one of the largest E-Learning portfolios worldwide with 130 courses and trained around 13,000 participants so far. Our headquarters is located in Berlin Mitte, and we currently have 65+ employees.
Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and creative Student Assistant to join our team in developing online courses. If you are passionate about Media Design or Media Pedagogy and eager to contribute to the creation of innovative educational content, this role is for you. You will support the development of online training materials, collaborate with our educational experts, and help to ensure that our courses meet high standards of quality and accessibility.
Your tasks and responsabilities:
- Assist our online department in developing e-learning course materials and graphics using authoring tools such as KnowledgeWorker and Canva.
- Help manage our e-learning platform (Moodle), including user management, creating training programs, and maintaining the question bank.
- Provide general support to the online department with daily operations.
- Currently enrolled at a university in Berlin with studies continuing at least until autumn 2025.
- Pursuing a degree in Media Design, Media Pedagogy, or a related field, and passionate about transforming educational experiences.
- Possess a foundational experience in crafting engaging didactic materials for online courses and experience with Moodle or similar platforms is a plus.
- Fluent in German, English, Spanish or French, with additional language skills considered a bonus.
