Supply Chain Management Expert (m/f/x) SAP IBP

The position:
The Supply Chain Management Expert (m/f/x) SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) is responsible for optimizing and enhancing supply chain processes using SAP IBP. This role involves analyzing, designing, and implementing effective supply chain strategies, ensuring seamless SAP IBP integration, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and performance improvements.

  • Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of SAP IBP modules, including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, and S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning)
  • Align SAP IBP with supply chain strategies and configure/ customize it in collaboration with IT to meet business needs
  • Analyze and optimize supply chain processes
  • Develop and implement best practices for demand forecasting, inventory management, and supply planning
  • Monitor KPIs and generate reports to track process effectiveness
  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate and align supply chain activities
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops for requirement gathering and issue resolution related to SAP IBP
  • Communicate with stakeholders to ensure understanding and support of initiatives
  • Provide training and support to end-users and key stakeholders on SAP IBP functionalities and best practices
  • Develop training materials and documentation
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP IBP-related issues
  • Stay updated with supply chain trends and SAP IBP advancements
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and drive continuous improvement initiatives

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus
  • Several years (minimum 5 years) proven experience working in supply chain management, focusing on SAP IBP implementation and optimization
  • SAP IBP certification or other relevant certifications are highly desirable
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP IBP
  • Proficiency in supply chain planning and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • Hands-on mentality, effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good networking skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • High degree of independence, flexibility, and resilience
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Fluency in written and spoken German and English
