JOB DESCRIPTION

/ Actively support the integration of sustainability within TRATON by collaborating with various functions to identify and implement sustainable improvements
/ Foster a culture of sustainability within TRATON by promoting cross-departmental collaboration and integrating sustainability considerations into strategies, operations, and decision-making processes
/ Provide guidance and expertise on sustainability topics and practices to senior management in the group
/ Independently lead strategy initiatives and programs aligned with TRATON’s sustainability agenda
/ Develop and align sustainability approaches and practices with functions and brands
/ Establish and lead cross-brand and cross-functional teams focused on strategic and emerging sustainability topics
/ Contribute to the TRATON Annual and Sustainability reports, ESG disclosures, and other communication materials
/ Build and maintain trusted relationships with relevant stakeholders within Volkswagen AG, the industry, and external partners

YOUR SKILLS

/ University degree in Sustainability, Economics, Political Science, Engineering, Law or a comparable field
/ At least 5 years of professional experience in a relevant position in a large company environment
/ Experience in the commercial vehicle/automotive industry or familiarity with our brands is highly advantageous
/ Strong affinity for strategy development, project management, and change management
/ Excellent communication skills for conveying complex information effectively to various stakeholders
/ Superior strategic and analytical thinking skills, with a high capacity for abstraction
/ Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in strategy development
/ Proven capability in establishing cross-functional teams and processes
/ Knowledge and experience in working with Human Rights, Equity and Social Responsibility is a merit
/ Proficiency in English, both written and oral, is essential. Knowledge of German, Portuguese and/or Swedish is considered as an asset
