This is how you make impact as a System Architect Embedded Systems (m/f/d)

As a System Architect you will design state-of-the-art solutions for a great variety of customers in high-tech. You will learn and explore new technologies and will be challenged on a day-to-day basis.
As a System Architect you will be part of the Design and Engineering group and the Embedded Systems department. Together with a team consisting of a project manager and hardware and software designers, you will be responsible for the electronics part of the solutions that we develop and produce for and in consultation with our customers. You can think of projects within semicon solutions, smart mobility and connectivity. In your position you fulfil an intermediary role between the customer and the department and frequent customer contact is a must.
Your daily responsibilities include
- >defining the best conceivable solution to a customer’s question
- drawing up and monitoring specifications together with the customer
- defining system architecture
- interface to customer and to design team, account manager and project manager
- being responsible for work breakdown structure for RFQ’s;
- advising and assisting the design, implementation, testing and documentation of a development project
- validating the specifications at system level

- A bachelor’s or master degree in electronics or similar;
- Academic work and thinking level;
- Relevant work experience, for example as an electronics designer or engineer;
- Experience with CE, EMC directive, and UL standards;
- Experience with quality techniques such as FMEA, MTBF;
- Knowledge of development tools (e.g. Spice, Matlab, Altium, DXdesigner);
- Knowledge of components and PCBA production techniques;
- Good communication and writing skills in English, and Dutch is an advantage.
