Team Lead – Production (day shift) For our site in Denmark, we are looking for a Team Lead for Production. Preferably from within the food manufacturing industry. Working hours are Monday to Wednesday (07.00-19.00) 12 hours shift – 3 days per week. Reporting to the Production Supervisor this role is to share the tasks of executing the production plan as efficiently as possible on the shifts. The role of the Team Lead is to facilitate a safe and compliant environment with high performing teams, that produces pet food right first time. The Team Lead oversees the people and processes in the area appointed to and ensures that production is running successfully. The Team Lead is responsible for improving processes and increasing productivity with innovative methods and motivating staff to perform better. To keep the Supervisor informed of any events which put at risk the people safety, product safety and production performance. Key responsibilities are to: To ensure continuous improvements in efficiency and complete all documents as required. To maintain good communication channels to ensure a highly motivated team. Facilitate needed onboarding and training of staff Ensure Foods Safety requirements are met Ensure Health & Safety requirements are met Create an environment where employees thrive Facilitate and secure proper handover between shifts To assist where necessary other departments wherever possible to create a pleasant and efficient working environment for all team members. To ensure all staff comply with the company policy on all matters. To liaise with the quality department and flag any quality issues. To liaise and report any issues of an equipment matter to the engineering department. To issue requisition for personnel equipment from the stores and be accountable for usage on a weekly basis. Responsible for personal hygiene whilst on the premises. Other duties as assigned.
