The German operation based in Hattersheim am Main is hiring an Technical Sales Representative who is responsible for selling products or services to Parts Manufacturers and Automotive parts data consumers in the assigned D.A.CH region. The holder of this position is self-motivated and proactive in identifying and seeking out customers, understanding their needs and pain-points, and then offering solutions to the group to address those needs. The Technical Sales Representative understands databases and can generate database queries specialised for Automotive parts data, which he uses for targeted sales management, concentrating on closing business opportunities in order to achieve the targets set.

The tasks awaiting you:

  • Customer acquisition and support: Acquiring new customers and developing long-term customer relationships through Data and IT expertise and customized solutions, particularly in the area of Parts Manufacturers in the Automotive Aftermarket
  • Sales of Data products and Software solutions for Product- and Catalogue Management: Presentation, consulting, negotiation and closing of contracts for our products and services
  • Market and competition analysis: Identification of new market potentials and trends in the field of automotive software and data management
  • Technical consulting and solution design: Analyzing customer requirements and translating them into technical solutions in collaboration with the product team
  • Participation in trade fairs and events: Representation of the company at trade fairs and industry events

  • Technical education: Successfully completed studies in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable qualification
  • Professional experience: Experience in Data and Catalogue Management, ideally in Sales, preferably in the Automotive or software industry
  • Technical understanding: Sound knowledge of Data Management and -standards in the Automotive Aftermarket and skills in dealing with database systems and data analyses
  • Strong communication skills: Convincing and professional appearance with customers as well as negotiation skills
  • Language skills: Very good written and spoken German and English
  • Willingness to travel: Flexibility and willingness to visit customers on site
