TT-Line is the leading ferry company in the Southern Baltic Sea, using state of the art ferries between Germany, Poland, Lithuania, and Sweden. Over 900,000 passengers and more than 500,000 freight units are transported annually on TT-Lines’ 5 routes, making it the market leader in southern Sweden traffic. TT-Line currently employs around 900 people on board and in its offices in Travemünde, Trelleborg, Świnoujście / Szczecin, Rostock, Klaipėda and Karlshamn.

To strengthen the technical inspection in Lübeck-Travemünde, we are looking at the earliest possible time for a:

Technical Superintendent (m/f/d)

  • Technical / nautical support of our own ferry tonnage
  • Planning and monitoring of projects
  • Handling of shipyard times and repairs
  • Preventive maintenance
  • Damage handling
  • Control and responsibility of maintenance and ship operating costs
  • Responsibility for the assessment of performance on board

  • University or university of applied sciences degree in the field of ship technology
  • Practical experience in the operation of engines of ships, ideally experience in ship management
  • A service-oriented manner, flexible adaption to changing circumstances and actively pushing ideas for optimizing ship operations as well as energy efficiency
  • Profound knowledge of national and international safety rules and regulations
  • Team spirit, respect in dealing with others and curiosity about new challenges
  • Very good knowledge of English and confident use of the common MS Office products
  • Willingness to travel and eager to visit the vessels assigned, on a regular basis
