Your prospective job:
You are acting as a Test Engineer Flight Control System (m/f/d) for our client Airbus Defence and Space in Manching.
Your responsibilities:
- Creation of the IVP (Integration & Verification Plan) for L2 and L3
- Creation of the IV verification strategy and assignment of M0C (Means of Compliance) to functional requirements (DesVerActions and ProdVerActions DOORS modules)
- Support during the test bench development and verification phase. – Responsible for the L3 bench validation process
- Test definition and execution of system and hardware/software integration tests
- Implementation of equipment integration requirements in test procedures/test cases for performing equipment integration tests
- Performing test procedures on the test rigs, evaluating test results and analyzing the result graphs of the individual signals
- Creating test reports after completion of the test phase
- Performing technical reviews of the documentation produced
- Assist in creating documentation for the test phase (test procedures, test reports problem reports)
- Creation/maintenance/review of internally used macros for the creation of test scripts
- Coordination tasks in the assigned area of responsibility
Your profile:
- Completed studies in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace or comparable
- Knowledge of flight control systems and understanding the importance of a verification matrix
- Experience with GIT/Bitbucket for change control and versioning
- Experience in SCADE model-based testing and model coverage analysis, as well as withDOORS (for requirements traceability and the creation of verification matrices)
- Good knowledge in Python and MS-Office
- Good understanding of ARP 4754 (Guidelines for the Development of Civil Aircraft and Systems) is a recognized flight safety standard from SAE International
- Good knowledge of the DO-178/DO-331 verification process
- Fluent English skills, written and spoken
- German skills would be a plus
