As a Trainee in “Data Analytics and Data Engineering – Quality Management”, you work at the interface between Quality Management (QM) and Information Technology. With the target to deliver the most desirable cars to our customers in the best quality, you are significantly involved in the implementation and coordination of large-scale data analytics projects in QM. You thrive to understand the manufacturing and quality processes at Mercedes-Benz and the data these processes create. Customer and market feedback, fault and cause documentations, campaign and recall operations, distribution routes, failure resolution processes and many other data products want to be used to create value-add digital solutions for not only our customers, but also for your co-workers using the business intelligence tools you create. You play a key role in bringing operative business and data scientists together, you lead international projects teams and develop solutions yourself. Employing statistical and data analysis methods, and exploring artificial intelligence tools, you evaluate large amounts of data to identify areas of improvement and pre-emptively detect potential quality issues. With your expertise in data analytics and data engineering, you develop solutions that help monitor and improve our product quality. You make an active contribution to preventive quality work and ensure the maturity level of our products early in the development process.
- An above-average degree (bachelor, master, MBA or doctorate) in Data Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Information Technology, Business Informatics or comparable course of study
- Maximum of 3 years of professional experience (apart from studies)
- At least 3 months of experience abroad (study, international internship, work and travel)
- Affinity and enthusiasm for digital technologies and trends
- Social commitment is preferred
- Excellent knowledge of English; good German language skills are an advantage
- You are ready to drive the transformation forward at Mercedes-Benz and take responsibility.
- You are open and communicative and have very good analytical skills.
- You are a team player and can motivate others.
