As a Trainee in “Digital Development Engineering”, you will dive into the world of aerodynamics/ aeroacoustics and NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) at Mercedes-Benz. You will drive methodical leadership and tool development in requirements management. You will work closely with method- and car- development teams to expand our digital methods and to shape vehicles that do not only impress visually but also excel in driving comfort. Your mission will be to contribute to the improvement of digital simulation methods in cooperation with our software vendors. You will develop body shapes and components that reduce wind noise and, in the Body & Comfort area, you will contribute to the advancement of sealing and insulation concepts to further perfect the driving experience. Your contribution will be crucial in enhancing the quality and comfort of our vehicles while meeting the demands of sustainable mobility. Qualifications:

  • An above-average degree (bachelor, master, MBA or doctorate) in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, vehicle construction, acoustics or physics or a comparable course of study
  • Maximum of 3 years of professional experience (apart from studies) 
  • At least 3 months of experience abroad (study, international internship, work and travel) 
  • Affinity and enthusiasm for digital technologies and trends  
  • Social commitment is preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of English; good German language skills are an advantage 
  • You are ready to drive the transformation forward at Mercedes-Benz and take responsibility
  • You are open and communicative and have very good analytical skills
  • You are a team player and can motivate others
