Develop your individual Journey of Growth:

As a Trainee in “Electric Drive” at Mercedes-Benz, you will join an enthusiastic team dedicated to redefine the boundaries of electromobility. Your mission is to advance the production of battery systems on a global scale. Your role encompasses the development of all electric drive components – from pre-development concepts to series launch and support. You optimize the energy distribution in our vehicles to achieve the highest efficiency and performance, and work on HV (high voltage) & charging architecture to create safe and certifiable electrical core functions. You will gain deep insights into the world of high-tech automotive manufacturing and work at the intersection of research and operations. Your technical know-how and pioneering spirit will help make the vision of a sustainable, emission-free future a reality.

Qualifications:

  • An above-average degree (bachelor, master, MBA or doctorate) in Electric Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Mechatronic or a comparable course of study
  • Maximum of 3 years of professional experience (apart from studies) 
  • At least 3 months of experience abroad (study, international internship, work and travel) 
  • Excellent knowledge of English – good German language skills are an advantage 
  • Affinity and enthusiasm for digital technologies and trends  
  • Social commitment is preferred
  • You are ready to drive the transformation forward at Mercedes-Benz and take responsibility
  • You are open and communicative and have very good analytical skills
  • You are a team player and can motivate others
